Aydın Dental Journal (Aydin Dent. J) is the refereed journal of Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Dentistry. It is a free-access scientific journal that adheres to the principles of publication ethics, where original scientific studies are evaluated with double-blind peer review principles.
Aydın Dental Journal has been publishing original research articles, technical notes, case reports and letters to the editor in the field of dentistry since 2015. The publication language is Turkish and English. As of 2023, it will be published 3 times a year in April, August and December.
Basic rules to be followed during the preparation of the article
1. Studies sent to our journal for publication should not have been published in any other journal, accepted for publication or under evaluation for publication.
2. In papers presented at scientific meetings and abstracts of which are published, the name, date and place of the meeting are stated and evaluated.
3. In studies sent for publication, citations, tables, pictures etc. If available, the author of the article must obtain written permission from the copyright holder and authors and state this in the article. The legal responsibility in this regard belongs to the authors.
4. In Turkish articles, the Turkish Dictionary of the Turkish Language Association or http://www.tdk.org.tr and the Turkish medical associations' own branch glossaries should be taken as basis.
5. How the sample size was determined, how the sampling was done and which biostatistical methods and principles were used in data analysis must be given in the "materials and methods" section.
