The Journal of Asian Studies is a peer-reviewed international social sciences journal published by the Asian Studies Application and Research Center of Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University. The journal aims to promote and disseminate studies that contribute to the scientific development of all disciplines within the social and human sciences, specifically in the field of "Asian Studies" both in Türkiye and worldwide.
The Journal of Asian Studies focuses on scholarly research and discussions within the social and human sciences related to the history, geography, sociology, economy, culture, archaeology, political relations, beliefs and values, and education of Asian countries and nations, including the Turkic peoples of Asia.
Submissions to the Journal of Asian Studies should offer in-depth analysis and discussion of developments and issues concerning disciplines related to the Asian region. Articles must present the scientific literature with an objective perspective, propose measurable and applicable solutions to developments and problems based on scientific methods, and provide direct contributions and original value to the field.
Within this scope, the journal publishes scientific articles, translations, interviews, reviews, and similar works. Studies that are not aligned with the aims, focus, and scope of the journal will not be published.
