1- Double blind peer review method is applied in the evaluation of articles. With this method, the referees who write and review the article are prevented from learning each other's identities.
2- Manuscripts submitted to the journal for publication are reviewed and pre-evaluated by the editor-in-chief and the field (subject) editor in accordance with the following criteria. The evaluations are made according to the following criteria;
• Compliance with the scope and subject areas of the journal
• Compliance with the journal's spelling rules, ethical principles and publication policies
• Similarity rating (iThenticate)
• Compliance with the scientific rules of the journal
• Language of publication (abstract, adequacy of keywords, structured abstract translation, etc.),
3- After the preliminary evaluation process is completed by the editorial board, 2 primary and 1 substitute referee is determined depending on the subject and content of the articles to be evaluated scientifically.
4- Abstracts of the articles are sent to the referees. Referees must notify whether they accept the article for evaluation within 7 days. If the referees agree to evaluate the article, the full text file is sent to the referees. The maximum time for the reviewers to evaluate the article sent to them is 1 month. Reviewers evaluate the study on the standard evaluation form sent to them.
Referees can give 4 opinions for the study.
• It can be published as it is.
• It can be published after the suggested corrections are made. (It is decided by the referee or editorial board by checking whether the corrections have been made).
• Cannot be published before the suggested corrections are made. (The study is taken into the 2nd round evaluation after it is received by the author(s)).
• Cannot be published.
5- If corrections are requested by the referees as a result of the evaluation, the article is directed to the author(s) for correction. The author(s) make their corrections within 1 month. The author(s) should submit a report containing the list of corrections made according to the suggestions of the editor and referees as a separate file when submitting the corrected manuscript. The corrections made by the author(s) are sent to the referees for evaluation of the article during a 15-day evaluation period.
6- In order for the manuscripts submitted to our journal to be published, at least two referees must give a publishable decision. If one referee gives a positive opinion and one referee gives a negative opinion, the article is sent to a third referee. After the completion of the evaluation, the referees' opinions are reviewed by the Editorial Board within two weeks.
7- Author(s) of the manuscripts that are deemed suitable for publication are requested to submit an extended abstract in English of at least 1500 and at most 1800 words covering all parts of the study (introduction, method, findings and conclusion). The submitted extended abstracts are submitted to the Foreign Language Editor for review and evaluation. The author(s) are obliged to correct their abstracts in line with the opinions of the Language Editor. If the requested corrections are not made, the study cannot be published.
8- The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision by taking into account the opinions and suggestions of the field editors and referees and officially notifies the relevant authors of this decision.
