Aim & Scope

GISTU Journal of Islamic Studies (e-ISSN: 3062-0317) is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access academic journal launched in 2024.
The journal aims to provide theoretical and methodological contributions to the fields of Islamic sciences and social sciences by publishing original and scholarly works.

Published biannually (in June and December), the journal adheres to high standards of academic publishing, embracing originality, research ethics, and academic integrity as its core principles.

GISTU Journal of Islamic Studies targets academics, researchers, postgraduate students, and relevant institutions at both national and international levels.
The primary objective of the journal is to contribute to academic development by disseminating original, high-quality research in full compliance with scientific ethical standards.
Adopting an interdisciplinary approach, the journal seeks to engage with scholarly communities globally and aims to become a reputable reference point in the academic world.

GISTU Journal of Islamic Studies features original and academically rigorous works prepared with an interdisciplinary approach in the fields of Islamic sciences and social sciences.

The journal aims to publish studies that address both classical and contemporary issues with theoretical depth and methodological precision.

Accordingly, the journal accepts the following types of submissions:
