The ODİTORYUM Journal of Critical Social Sciences builds upon the knowledge base of the SOSYOLOJİK TARTIŞMALAR journal published by SOMDER and aims to elevate this knowledge to a national peer-reviewed publication platform. The ODİTORYUM Journal of Critical Social Sciences is a journal that operates with a transformative paradigm in the fields of social and human sciences, striving to contribute to the academic/scientific domain. In this context, it provides a space for sociology graduates, as well as all authors working in the fields of social, human, and administrative sciences, to share their contributions.

The ODİTORYUM Journal of Critical Social Sciences is published under the Sociology Graduates Association (SOMDER), which was established in 2007 to address the professional, economic, social, political, and cultural issues faced by sociologists who hold bachelor's degrees in sociology, and to protect and promote their constitutional and democratic rights. SOMDER is also a civil society organization that aims to create opportunities for sociology graduates to produce qualified knowledge in their areas of expertise. The association's activities include publishing a newsletter, reports, newspapers, brochures, journals, books, and similar media.

Evaluation and Publication Process of Submitted Manuscripts:
Manuscripts submitted to the journal will be evaluated by the editorial and publication boards, and if the similarity report is found acceptable, they will be reviewed by three referees who are experts in the field.
Each article undergoes double-blind peer review. If the majority of referees support publication, the articles will be published or rejected, and the authors will be informed of the decision. At this stage, authors have the right to withdraw their manuscripts, and if the author accepts publication, the rights to the article will be transferred to the journal.
A declaration form indicating acceptance of the responsibilities regarding the transfer of publication rights and the similarity report must be filled out by the authors and submitted to the journal. This form is available in print on the association's website.
After the manuscript is uploaded to the system, the editorial board will inform the author of its decision regarding whether the article will be considered for review within one month. This decision may be that the article is not suitable for the journal or that the process of sending it to referees has begun.
One month after the manuscript is sent to referees, their evaluations will be communicated to the authors. These evaluations may indicate that the manuscript is accepted without any revisions, that minor or major revisions are requested, or that it is rejected.
In the case of revisions, the author is given a maximum of three weeks to make the necessary changes. Whether the revised manuscript needs to be reviewed again by the referees is at the discretion of the referees, and this preference will be communicated to the author in the referee report.

NO FEE.
