Abstract

Abstract
This study was conducted to adapt the Work-Family Positive Spillover Scale developed by Hanson et al. (2006) into Turkish by conducting validity and reliability studies. The participants of the study comprised 407 individuals, 242 women and 165 men, living in Turkey. Work-Family Positive Spillover Scale, Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale, Relationship Satisfaction Scale and Psychological Well-Being Scale were used as data collection tools. Confirmatory factor analysis, item-total correlation, criterion-related validity and Cronbach's alpha internal consistency coefficient were calculated to test the psychometric properties of the scale. As a result of the analyses, it was found that the 6-dimensional 22-item structure of the original form of the scale was similarly valid and reliable in its Turkish form. As a result, it was concluded that the adapted Work-Family Positive Spillover Scale can be applied as a valid and reliable measurement tool among working and married individuals.
