Ses Çıkarma Davranışı Ölçeği’nin Türkçeye Uyarlanması

Abstract

Çalışmanın amacı, Maynes ve Podsakoff tarafından geliştirilen Ses Çıkarma Davranışı Ölçeği’ni Türkçeye uyarlamaktır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2023-2024 eğitim öğretim yılında Kocaeli ili Gebze ilçesindeki kamu okullarında görev yapan 146 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile ölçeğin geçerliliğine yönelik kanıt elde edilmiştir. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda değerlerin kabul edilebilir sınırlar içinde olduğu belirlenmiştir (CFI=.93; RMSEA=.08 SRMR=.07). Ölçek maddelerine verilen cevapların güvenirliğini belirlemek için Cronbach alfa katsayısı hesaplanmış ve .92 olarak bulunmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda ölçeğin Türkçe formunun ses çıkarma davranışını ölçmede geçerli ve güvenilir olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ses Çıkarma Davranışı Ölçeği'nin Türkçeye uyarlanmış hâlinin Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı okullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin ses çıkarma davranışlarını belirlemek için kullanılabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir araç olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

Adaptation of the Voice Behavior Scale into Turkish

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to adapt the "Voice Behavior Scale," originally developed by Maynes and Podsakoff, into Turkish. The research involved 146 teachers from public schools in Gebze, Kocaeli, during the academic year 2023-2024. Evidence for the validity of the scale was obtained through confirmatory factor analysis. As a result of confirmatory factor analysis, it was determined that the values were within acceptable limits (CFI=.93; RMSEA=.08 SRMR=.07). To determine the reliability of the answers to the scale items, the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was calculated and found to be .92. As a result of the research, it was determined that the Turkish form of the scale was valid and reliable in measuring voice behavior. It was determined that the Turkish version of the Voice Behavior Scale was a valid and reliable tool that could be used to determine the voice behaviors of teachers working in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education.
