By publishing open-source, the Journal of Current Tourism Research not only eliminates the need for funding/sponsorship to cover printing costs to a large extent, but also aims to facilitate access to and sharing of information. In addition, being aware that knowledge has a cost, we want to publish in an understanding that is not commercialized and does not allow the monopolization of knowledge.Considering the difference between publishing and academics and the difficulties in publishing, we want to work exclusively for science on a voluntary basis, as in many phases of academics. The journal is an open-source publication, which to a large extent eliminates the need for funding/sponsorship to cover the costs of publishing.

The Journal of Current Tourism Research is a fully accessible publication, which means that the peer-reviewed scientific papers can be read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, scanned or freely accessed online, indexed for indexing, transferred to software, or used for other lawful purposes without financial, legal or technical barriers by any user on the public internet.

The content of the Journal of Current Tourism Research is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License. All articles published in the Journal of Current Tourism Research after peer review are available immediately after publication. In addition, there are no fees (article processing fees) charged to authors before, during or after publication.

Archiving Statement

All articles published in the Journal of Current Tourism Research are stored electronically on hosting servers under the umbrella of TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM through the DergiPark journal management system.
