Authors submitting an article to the Journal of Current Tourism Research should not have published and/or submitted for publication elsewhere.
The editors are fully authorized to make the necessary corrections about the language, spelling and sources of the article in order to ensure compliance with the journal's writing style.
It is the responsibility of the authors to obtain the necessary permissions in case of quoted text, tables, pictures, etc. taken from other published works.
The scientific responsibility of the article belongs to the authors. Persons and institutions that do not meet the criteria for authorship in the article but provide funding and other forms of support should be mentioned in the “ Acknowledgements” section.
In the article; if there is a commercial connection or an institution that provides financial support to the study, the authors must state in the “Acknowledgements” section that they do not have commercial relations with the commercial product used and/or the named institution, organization; if any, they must state the nature of the relationship.
Authors must comply with ethical rules (plagiarism, multiple publication, self-plagiarism, issues related to authorship, coercive citation, defamation, production of untrue information, unethical research and measurements, conflict of interest, basic principles, etc.) in the article they submit to the Journal of Current Tourism Research.
Authors' submission to the journal means that they declare and accept that the article is original, that it has not been submitted elsewhere and is not under consideration for publication, that there are no defamation, defamation and illegal statements in the study, that permissions including possible third parties have been obtained, that approval has been obtained from the named persons and institutions, that authorship has been shared and approved before submission, and that there is no guest authorship and ghost authorship.
As the author(s) of the article, the name(s) at the time of the first submission of the publication are taken into account. Subsequently requested changes are not accepted.
Separate ethics committee approval must be obtained for research in all disciplines, including social sciences, and for clinical and experimental human and animal studies that require ethics committee approval, and this approval must be stated and documented in the article.
For studies requiring ethics committee approval, information about the approval (name of the committee, date and number) should be included in the method section and also on the first/last page of the article. In case presentations, information on the signature of the informed consent form should be included in the article.
Confidentiality Statement
The editor and other editors are prohibited from sharing information about the article with anyone other than the authors or referees of the article. Personal information such as names and e-mail addresses entered into the management system of the Journal of Current Tourism Research will only be used for the scientific purposes of this journal. This information will not be used for any other purpose or section and will not be shared with third parties. Reviewers cannot share the article they review with anyone other than the Editor.
Plagiarism/Similarity Check
All articles submitted to our journal are subjected to a similarity report with iThenticate, Turnitin or Intihal.net software before they are submitted for peer review. The matches of each study revealed by the software are examined in depth and the matches with correct references and citations are extracted. The remaining matches are examined and errors are detected and reported to the editorial board. The editorial board makes a final decision about each study in the light of the plagiarism check report.

Dergimize gönderilen çalışmalar geliş sırasına ve konusuna göre öncelikle editör değerlendirmesinden geçmekte, editör görüşü doğrultusunda hakem değerlendirmesine karar verilmektedir. Değerlendirme süreci tamamlanan çalışmalar da aynı şekilde değerlendirmenin tamamlanma tarihlerine, türlerine ve kapsamlarına göre yayıma kabul edilmektedir.
