Excluding Certain Reviewers from the Review Process

The author(s) can specify the reviewers to whom the manuscript should not be sent on the grounds of conflict of interest or ethical grounds.

In addition, the Editor does not send reviews to reviewers in the following positions:

Previous collaborative work published by the author(s),
Assisted in preliminary readings of the author(s)' work,
Will benefit financially from the publication of the study,
Reviewers working at the same institution (same department at universities) as the author.

Withdrawal

Author(s) can withdraw their unpublished manuscripts during the preliminary review process. However, authors cannot submit their manuscripts to another journal for evaluation unless the editorial board approves the withdrawal request of the manuscripts whose copyrights have been transferred at the submission stage of the Journal of Current Tourism Research.

Objections to Reviews and Editorial Board Decisions

Author(s) have the right to object to reviewer reports and editorial decisions at any time and under any circumstances. In these and similar cases, the Author(s) are requested to submit their objections with their justifications. The editors may initiate a new evaluation process if deemed necessary in cases of objection.

Saving for Published Work

The copyright of the published articles and reviews belongs to the Journal of Current Tourism Research. However, the author(s) may submit their requests regarding the use of their work to the Editor of the journal.
